What happens when a town stops hoping… and starts believing?

Ben Valentine (Rhys Muldoon) has totally lost his way in the world. Drunk and directionless, he finds himself in trouble with the law in the small Victorian country town of Rushworth.

Mistakenly identified as famous AFL footballer Ben Valentine, he is sentenced to 200 hours of community service... in the form of coaching the town's 'no-hoper' football team. Teetering on the brink of demise, if they don’t win three out of the next four games, not only will they have to merge with their arch rivals, but their beloved pie factory Dick’s will be sold. For the proud, close-knit community, the future is looking bleak.

With so much riding on the outcome of the next couple of games, Ben begins to realise how important his role is, and starts to care about this football mad community. But will he be able to pull it off? Will the town accept who this drifter really is?

Written by acclaimed Australian author Peter Temple and starring Rhys Muldoon, Freya Stafford, Anita Hegh and Michael Tuahine.

I stumbled upon this movie while channel surfing one night and got drawn in by it, I really enjoyed it and couldnt wait for the DVD to come out, and now i thought i'd share it and see if others enjoy it as much as i did. It's depicts small Australian country town life very well, which is why i enjoyed it so much ;-)

PLEASE Keep seeding for a while after your download finishes till the torrent has a decent number of seeders, then i can upload some more :)
