My excess remaster of the excellent [color=red]TinyMe 2008.0[/color] (PCLinuxOS) 200MB ISO.

Upon hard disk installation, about 2.1GB of disk space will be used.

Most of these additional programs have not been tested yet with this remix distro.

NOTE: to install to hard disk, you must log in as "root".

This distro uses the small and efficient Openbox windows manager, not KDE, GNOME, xFCE or E17 etc. Openbox is great but is not as end-user friendly as KDE/GNOME/xFCE etc. It is a good candidate for "mod-it-then-set-it-and-forget-it" PCs for casual PC users.

I made two more intermediate ISOs, TinyXS-base and TinyXS-Office. If you have problems with software on this ISO you may want to start with one of these (with fewer programs) and use Synaptic to customize.
