An interesing and neglected musical.

Too bad there are no subtitles.

The opening Show Boat sequence contains stuff worth knowing.

I wrote enough subtitles to show what they're saying.

Remember this was the original 1929 style.

The movie story is interesting to me and surprising beautiful for
a 1946 movie. The last half is a bit boring.
