The Egyptian 2.avi
This is exactly the same movie as The Egyptian (1954), without the "2".
There have been complaints about the quality of my original upload.
That original was copyied from TV. It was good enough for my purposes.
I have made an attempt with this new re-upload to improve the previous dark character of the first one and to sharpen and improve the contrast.
The reader must recall that my collection of movies was made for my family use only. Also remember that it was out of desperation that I began the arduous task of writing subtitles for several of our family's old favorite videos in order for my hard-of-hearing wife to be able to continue to enjoy them.
After having finished 25 of them, it dawned on me that there may be other people out there with similar problems to my own who would appreciate having copies of my work. I first uploaded just the subtitles to certain websites. Then I discovered torrents and Mininova and Pirate Bay and taught myself how to upload there. The idea here was to make it easier for the user to go right to work enjoying them without the additional task of fitting my subtitles to a copy of their own home-made video.
When a couple of foreigners contactd me to thank me for making the subtitles I realized that there were other uses for them than just for old geezers like me here in my retirement home.
I than began to wonder if uploads of my other movies would be of interest to anyone. (That would be without consideration of the subtitle angle.) Once again a foreigner thanked me for sharing the particular type of movies that I had. So I began sending the ones I thought would be of interest and which were not already available through the use of torrents.
That was when I sent out The Egyptian (1954) and many others. Apparently I began to look like a professional source for certain individuals to enhance their collection of high quality movies for storage.
I must insist that I am an amateur and have been satisfied with so-so copies. If you don't like my stuff look elsewhere, without resorting to flaming commentanary.
