[Release Notes]

REAL PROPER NOTES:

So even though we made it VERY clear that this movie has VARIABLE f**kIN'
BORDERS. D3Si decided to use this as one of their reasons to proper. The
screenshots that D3Si used as proof can be found in brg-rockon-proof dir
titled (1-ro-d3si.png, 1-ro-d3si.png, ... 1-ro-d3si.png, 3-ro-d3si.png)

The nukers who are supposed to be unbiased didn't bother checking the
entire rip. Infact, they didn't even bother reading out NFO. Now lets
analyze this rip properly. (Titled aa-ro-brg.png, aa-ro-d3si.png, ...
ae-ro-brg.png, ae-ro-d3si.png). You will see that there are many frames
where our crop seems PERFECT and D3Si ended up over cropping left, right
and a bit of top. The overcropping also ended up f*****g their AR -
every thing is stretched horizontally. So that takes care of the under
crop part.

D3Si also mentioned that CD2 subs in our rip are "farked". We checked
the subs and they were indeed out of sync by ~30 seconds. A simple sub-
fix could have fixed the problem but since D3Si had already managed to
get our release nuked by then we were unable to release a sub-fix. (Fix
for a nuked release is not allowed).

Here is the exact same (XViD) AVI files with fixed subs. We haven't
changed any thing in this rip it is the exact same files as the RePACK
Rock.On.2008.RePACK.DVDRip.XviD-BrG we only fixed the subs and multisubs.
SO IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED THE REPACK VERSION OF OUR RIP YOU DO
NOT NEED TO RE-DOWNLOAD THIS ONE. JUST GRAB THE NEW SUB/MULTiSUBS FILES.

Was the REAL.PROPER necessary?
- Yes. We didn't want D3Si to get away with their crappy rip and we
didn't want our hardwork to be wasted. The DVD is one of the worst
sources ever created and it took us a long time to figure out the best
way to handle the ghosting/bleeding/jerks. If it was a crappy movie and
we didn't waste so much time on it, we wouldn't have bothered with this.


We know that many siteop/nukers/racers/leechers/etc. will frown upon this
but there are some things that just can not be ignored.

the proof directory. Here's a quick summary of what we have stated here






Final Word:

- D3Si over-cropped their rip from left and right the over cropping has
caused their rip's AR to be horizontally stretched.

- Our Rip is NOT under cropped. The sync for subs/multisubs is now fixed.





Notes from the RePACK:

The movie has a lot of variable borders so the movie is undercropped
on purpose. Nukers please keep that in mind .

The last rip was a bit FUBAR'd but that's because of the source/DVD9.
Here's the repack - Ghosting has been fixed to a certain level. It
cannot be fixed any further + frame drop/jerks/bleeding (almost every-
thing was taken care off). It isn't observable in fluid playback.
