Rhythms of Oriental Dance with Nesma & Khasmis

DVD Rip & CD @320kbs.

This DVD is completely in Arabic but there are subtitles for:
English
French
Spanish
German
Italian
Portuguese
Japanese (these ones you will have to render yourself because I don't have the characters on my computer).

This was my first time at subtitling, so they are not perfect and nor do I speak all of those languages. I have included the original subs files off the dvd for those people who speak Japanese and want to create their own subs, or if anyone else wants to recreate the subs for their own language.

Subtitles for Eng, Fr and ES should all be correct, but with the other languages you will find gaps in words etc, I have no knowledge of the other laguages so could not correct them. You will just have to make do with what you are given, or edit them yourself when you get them.

I can't tell you how to play them, other than the subtitle file needs to be the exact same name as the .avi, but I have simply left them titled by what language they are.

The DVD itself is split into different AVIs (it would not let me join them into 1 AVI)...

DVD originally came with a booklet, but nothing in it was not already what was on-screen, so have not included it.

This deluxe package contains both a DVD and a CD.
Part 1,the DVD, is a Rhythm and Dance Encounter with Demonstrations. An exchange of ideas and insights between musician and dancer on rhythms, percussion and dance. The artists illustrate points in their conversation with demonstrations of percussion beats and choreography for each of the nine essential rhythms featured here.

Part 2, the CD, records an Improvisation with Percussion and Dance. The staging of a traditional piece of Egyptian dance with tabla solo in which the dancer and the percussionist give proof of their mutual understanding and sense of humour in a refreshing performance.
