I've noticed with my new connection that the company traffic management thingy is affecting my torrents at certain times (also my Dad & Sis are loving the always on Wireless) and seeding speeds will fluctuate during the day. Theres nothing I can do about it, it works when it works, fast or slow, I always complete.
The Eyes of Buddha with Shameela
All thanks for this go to the friend who sent it to me, I had never heard of it before considering I love ME...but seems I am joining you Triabl girls...I've finally found a new class, except this time it is Tribal fusion and NOT taught by my old teacher...starts tomorrow evening, so will see how it goes. God I've missed dancing, plus 4 months off + chocolate = gotten unfit.
As for what I think of the DVD. The original filming quality is not that great and is not sharp, its lit ok but I found the sound a bit quiet, the Australian Instructor, Shameela, is not wearing a mic so sometimes you have to strain to hear her.
"The Eyes of Buddha" instructional DVD is a unique blend of Tribal bellydance and Indian Bollywood dance styles making it's content rich and culturally rewarding.
Shameela brings together the ancient and the modern in 24 combinations with names such as Kundalini Serpent, Flaming Lotus, Dharma Chakra and Mandala Spin.
These combinations are choreographed to the funky music mix of Solace who blend beautifully together sounds from the East and the West.
Shameela's style fuses Indian and Buddhist hand Mudras and temple poses with bellydance isolations and American Tribal Style moves.
Women from all walks of life can enjoy the health benefits from these styles of dance such as toning their muscles, improving posture and flexibility and strengthening abdomen and pelvic floor muscles. The other benefits to women is that it builds confidence and self esteem, whilst discovering an inner beauty. Shameela says that it is inspiring to watch her students grow in confidence and in grace expressing their femininity, strength of spirit, giving them a sense of vitality and well being.
Shameela has been performing and teaching various bellydancing styles for over 12 years. She brings her extensive experience and passion to the Eyes Of Buddha DVD, her aim being to inspire women to enjoy the sisterhood of dance and share in the Tribal Spirit.
