Two asylum seekers, a young married couple, arrive in Oslo from the Ukraine. They have a video recorder with which they record their escape from the poor country and their arrival in the rich country. On arrival, they request asylum using false names and false documents. And they film the forgery. In every detail.
While their application is being processed, their waiting game begins. They are transferred from one refugee camp to another, all over Norway. Their own video images tell a story of daily life at the refugee camps which is astonishing. Asylum seekers have never had so much fun! The boredom while waiting for the results of their asylum applications is alleviated by partying, drinking and being in love. The videotape reveals a lot of their charming personalities. But then their luck runs out.
