With President Bush using the constitution as toilet paper for his personal agenda there are tempting alternatives. But when we look for the 2008 president lets not forget the dangers of the UN. We will need an independently minded President who loves America who wants to work with the global community not dominate it (bush) or surrender it over with our apologies (kerry)
The UN is a government entity which is not ultimately elected or accountable to anyone. There is no direct constituency or system of checks and balances etc. etc..
Im not concerned that you see the world the way i do. Just please make sure you are famaliar with what the UN is at its core principles before you support anyone who wants to make america its lapdog.
America is #1 worlds only superpower there is no clear #2 which means if america falls there will be a massive power struggle among the few contenders to be the dominate power. Nearly all of those contendors would be horrific to have setting world agenda.
