Ignoring the curses and taboos, a modern bandleader and composer flirts with death by performing a piece he has built around a secret voodoo melody.
This episode is based on a story by Cornell Woolrich, a writer whose personal life was almost as bizarre as the situations he dreamed up for his fiction. Another Woolrich story, "It Had to Be Murder," was the inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock's classic film Rear Window.
