DC Comics Chronology - Post-Zero Hour Pack 23
featuring DC titles published between December 1996 and January 1997
I guess cancelling all those Justice League books had a purpose after all. JLA debuts, running 125 issues. On the \\\"okay, not so successful\\\" side of the ledger, Scare Tactics begins and runs 12 issues, while Helix launches Time Breakers as an ongoing, but converts it to a five-issue mini-series mid-run.
The two-part Superboy/Robin: World\\\'s Finest Three hits the street, as does Vertigo\\\'s three-issue Mythos: The Final Tour. The three-part Elseworlds story Thrillkiller also begins, but is unscanned as individual issues; see pack 43 for the trade paperback.
Showcase \\\'96 #12 ends the anthology title\\\'s 48-issue run, while Takion faces the axe with issue #7.
