Set in the harsh world of politics and the grind of the news cycle, the comedy revolves around Duncan's career frustrations and his mid-life crisis. He believes his career is going nowhere, ever since he fell off the stage live on Question Time.

The show is written by The Now Show's Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis, and is based on topical events.
