The Girls Aloud Party will see the UK’s favourite girl band host their very own festive celebration - and everyone is invited.

The one-off ITV1 special will see Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh perform some of their biggest hits as well as some new album tracks.

The show will also feature unique collaborations with other artists as well as comedy sketches - offering viewers the chance to see the girls as never before!

Sarah says: “2008 has been a great year for us all and what better way to round it off than with a festive special. The show will be a Girls Aloud Christmas party and loads of fun. We can't wait!”

The glamorous girl group have captured the hearts of the nation since forming in 2002 on ITV1’s Popstar: The Rivals.

Their most recent single, The Promise, shot straight to No.1 shortly followed by their new album, Out Of Control. The five-some have become one of the most successful bands of the decade with a record-breaking 19 consecutive top 10 hits since their debut single, Sound Of The Underground.

As well as their musical careers, the girls have recently been seen on ITV2’s The Passions Of Girls Aloud, a series which saw them pursue other lifelong ambitions: from professional street dancing to landing a starring part on the West End stage.

And Cheryl Cole has also been attracting audiences of up to 11 million viewers on the latest series of The X Factor where she appears as a judge and mentor.
