Here is the complete fifth series of 'Spitting Image', ripped from VHS recordings. I also have part of Series 6 and the whole of Series 7 to upload - so look out for these in the following month.

Transmitted between 6th November and 11th December 1988.

At it's height, 'Spitting Image' ran from 1984 to 1996. Seeing different eras of time and entertainment through two Conservative Prime Ministers.

It was produced by Spitting Image Productions for Central. The series was nominated for 10 BAFTA Awards, winning only one, for editing, in 1989.

As the show progressed, Britain's political landscape altered. Particularly, in the early 1990s, many of the characters who had proven so popular were retired from real-world politics, particularly Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, whilst others such as Michael Heseltine and Norman Tebbit became much less prominent.

The quality of these files is quite impressive, but what you should expect from VHS.
