Episode 1 - 5th August
The members of RAF Search and Rescue 137 squadron battle fading light and high winds to rescue two climbers stuck 4,000 feet up on Ben Nevis. Elsewhere, the Stornoway Coastguards race to help an injured 70 year-old-man on the tiny island of Scarp; and the Cairngorm Mountain Ski Patrol is called to the aid of a 20-year-old man with a badly broken leg.
Episode 2 - 12th August
A helicopter crew rescue a critically ill diver; police struggle to cope with a crashed lorry; and the night shift are scrambled in a frantic search to find two lost boys.
Episode 3 - 19th August
An RAF helicopter crew races to rescue a man who has fallen into a deep gorge; the ski patrol brave zero visibility to help a laid-back casualty; and the Royal Navy step in to airlift a critically ill patient.
Episode 4 - 26th August
The RAF helicopter crew tries to locate an elderly hiker in the mountains; the Royal Navy attempts the daring rescue of a young girl trapped on rocks between a cliff face and the sea; and paramedics fear a horse-rider may have damaged her spine in a fall.
Episode 5 - 2nd September
The RAF Lossiemouth team searches for a walker who is lost in the mountains; and a Royal Navy winchman embarks on a dangerous rescue.
Episode 6 - 9th September
An RAF crew battles strong winds to get to an injured climber; a Royal Navy search and rescue team braves zero-visibility to get a sick infant to hospital; and there is blood on the slopes for the Cairngorms ski patrol.
Episode 7 - 16th September
Search and rescue teams battle desperately to find a missing pilot; and a Royal Navy team braves high winds and heavy seas to save an injured colleague in distress.
Episode 8 - 23rd September
An RAF team battles fierce crosswinds and turbulence to reach an injured hiker; a Royal Navy search and rescue crew fights to save a concussed horse rider; and blue skies result in a busy day for the Cairngorm ski patrol.
Episode 9 - 30th September
Members of the Royal Navy search and rescue team are called to two remote rescues during a marathon shift; and the crew of RAF Lossiemouth attempts a difficult winch in treacherous conditions on the North Sea.
Episode 10 - 7th October
An RAF search and rescue crew saves five teenagers stuck on an ice-covered gully. Elsewhere, a RNLI team races to help a stricken fishing vessel caught in hazardous waters.
Episode 11 - 14th October
The medics at a small community hospital tend to a severely injured climber; searchers must rescue a lone hiker who is dangerously close to hypothermia; and emergency back-up is called in to tend to a middle-aged man who is thought to have had a heart attack.
Episode 12 - 21st October
An RAF search and rescue crew must help a fallen walker on Ben Nevis and an injured woman stranded on an uninhabited island; while a Royal Navy team comes to the aid of a badly injured cyclist who has been knocked off his bike amidst thick forests near Dumfries.
Episode 13 - 28th October
A Royal Navy crew rushes to the aid of a desperately ill diver; the RAF battles through darkness and freezing temperatures to find four stranded climbers; and the air ambulance crew at Glasgow airport must transfer a sick man to hospital.
Episode 14 - 4th November
The Royal Navy search and rescue team sets out to locate a seriously injured climber, and the RAF helicopter risk life and limb while attempting a perilous landing on a North Sea oil rig.
Episode 15 - 11th November
The RAF team must perform a tricky manoeuvre to get the helicopter close to two stranded climbers, and Glasgow's air ambulance is sent to an 83-year-old man with a neck injury. Meanwhile, Prestwick's Royal Navy crew plans a training exercise, but gets called out to a woman with a broken leg.
Episode 16 - 18th November
The Rescue 177 team is called back from a training run to save two climbers who fell down a ridge and became stranded on Buachaille Etive Mor, a steep mountain in the Glencoe area. Meanwhile, the HM Coastguard crew searches for a pair of divers who went missing while visiting the glacial Loch Torridon.
Episode 17 - 19th November
Rescuers hunt for a mother and daughter lost on a mountain in the dark, and an RAF Search and Rescue team braves turbulent winds to rescue a badly injured man.
Episode 18 - 25th November
The HM Coastguard helicopter team braves stormy weather to assist local climbing experts searching the Cuillin mountain range for a Dutch hiker who has fallen onto a steep rock face. Meanwhile, Royal Navy rescuers are summoned to an incident at Goat Fell on the Isle of Arran, where a man who recently underwent heart surgery is suspected of suffering a cardiac arrest.
Episode 19 - 26th November
Royal Navy Rescue 177 comes to the aid of a horse rider with suspected spinal injuries and an RAF team faces danger while rescuing two climbers trapped on a sheer wall of ice. The Aberdeen air ambulance crew airlifts the victim of a road accident to hospital.
Episode 20 - 2nd December
A 17-month-old infant contracts a life-threatening infection, and the Royal Navy's Rescue 177 team is called to transport the child from Campbeltown hospital in Argyll and Bute to a treatment centre in Paisley. Meanwhile, HM Coastguard receives a call-out when two climbers become stranded on rocks just above sea level on the Isle of Skye.
Episode 21 - 3rd December
The RAF fights to save two boys who have drifted out to sea, the Coastguard is called to help a seriously ill sea-kayaker, and a team of mountain medics rescues an injured cyclist.
Episode 22 - 9th December
The Royal Navy Rescue 177 chopper responds to a crash near Prestwick, where five people including an elderly lady have been injured. Meanwhile in the Nevis range, a teenage cyclist suffers an injury while taking part in the Mountain Bike World Cup, and medic Jeff Starkey is forced to use an unusual means of transport to get the stricken competitor to hospital.
Episode 23 - 10th December
The RAF's 202 squadron scrambles to rescue a climber stuck more than 2,000 feet up on Ben Nevis. A woman taking part in a mountain climbing challenge which involves ascending the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales also runs into difficulty when her knees seize up.
Episode 24 - 16th December
On Aonach Mor, hundreds of cyclists take part in the Scottish Downhill Race, and the mountain medics on duty at the event are called into action when a 15-year-old competitor falls from his bicycle, injuring his head. Meanwhile, the RAF search and rescue crew rushes to the aid of a windsurfer who accidentally floated out to sea.
Episode 25 - 23rd December
An avalanche strands two climbers on the frigid slopes of Buachaille Etive Mor near Glencoe, and HMS Gannet's Rescue 177 is dispatched to search for the pair. Meanwhile, RAF Lossiemouth's Rescue 137 helicopter rushes to the aid of boating enthusiasts injured at a white-water rafting centre on the River Findhorn.
