Plot Summary:
Fifth Gear (formerly 5th Gear) is a motoring television magazine from the United Kingdom. Fifth Gear first aired in 2002 as a replacement to the original incarnation of the BBC show Top Gear, which was cancelled in 2001 due to low ratings. Five originally wanted to carry on using the Top Gear name, but the BBC refused. Several of Top Gear's ex-presenters, including Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell and Vicki Butler-Henderson were hired by Five to present Fifth Gear of which some still remain with newer hosts Jason Plato, Tim Shaw, Tom Ford & Jonny Smith.

Tiff Needell kicks the twelfth series off in style by subjecting the fastest car in the world - the 890,000-pound Bugatti Veyron - to its first ever television test. Jonny Smith tests a potential revolution in city transport, the Mitsubishi 'i'. England rugby star and Dancing on Ice supremo Kyran Bracken is given some circuit driving tuition from Jason Plato. And Tom Ford tests the new Maserati GranTurismo coupe.

The team conducts a fascinating crash test by slamming a 15-year-old Volvo 940 estate into a three-year-old Renault Modus with surprising results. Jason Plato races the Audi R8 against a Porsche 911 driven by Tiff Needell. Jonny Smith road-tests the 207mph Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Roadster. Comedian and 'Max and Paddy' star Paddy McGuinness takes his motorbike test. And Vicki Butler-Henderson finds out if Peugeot's new 207 GTi is as exhilarating to drive as the 205GTi.

Jason Plato finds out just how fast cricketer Shane Warne is on a track. Jonny Smith and Tom Ford battle it out to decide which is best - a diesel Mini Cooper or petrol one. Can a bunch of 13-year-olds design a road junction better than the Highways Agency? It's Britain vs Japan as Vicki Butler-Henderson races the British and Japanese versions of the Honda Civic Type R to find out which is quickest. Plus Tiff Needell drives the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera.

Tom Ford gets his hands on the keys of a new Rolls-Royce, the Phantom Drophead Coupe. Jonny Smith finds out if some of Britain's cheapest cars can get to the top of Britain's steepest road. Foxy TV property developer Sarah Beeny has wanted to drive an HGV since she was 12 years old and Jason Plato makes her dream come true. Also Vicki's high speed pursuit assessment with the boys in blue and Tiff Needell drives the car every petrol head has been waiting for, the new BMW M3.

Vicki Butler-Henderson compares Audi TTs: how will one with a semi-automatic gearbox fare against one with a manual? Four leading brands of fuel additives are subjected to scientific tests. Tom Ford reports on the new Fiat 500 - is it the car you should be seen in next year? Tiff Needell takes the new Gumpert Apollo supercar to the track.

Tiff Needell and Jason Plato go head-to-head on the track in two popular and powerful roadsters, the BMW Z4 and Nissan 350Z. Vicki Butler-Henderson meets Sally
Boazman, Radio 2's Sally Traffic, and takes her on a Bentley chauffeur driving course. Tom Ford gets a sneak preview of the ultimate garage sale - 50 cars being sold by Bernie Ecclestone. Jonny Smith celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Deuce Coupe.

Jonny and Tom build drift cars from a pair of Bedford Rascal vans. Tiff drives the brand new Subaru Impreza and sees if it lives up to it’s ancestors. Jason drives the Caparo T1, a street legal race car, which proves to be a little more firey than he would have liked. The shootout this week is a “General Lee” Dodge Charger vs. a Ford Gran Torino from “Starsky and Hutch”.

Episode 8

Tiff gets to test drive a Ferrari 430 Scuderia whilst Tom and Johny build a modern day version of the classic Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to mark the 100th anniversary. Also the Fifth Gear Awards for 2007, including best small car, best family car, best fast car, and best overall car of the year.

It is now present with its correct naming (if you wish to continue seeding that is fifth.gear.s12e04.ws.pdtv.xvid-river). Apart from that all files are the same.
