Crown Court was courtroom drama which ran between 1972 to 1984 and shown in the afternoons on ITV where it was produced by Granada Television. A court case in the Crown Court of the fictional town of Fulchester would typically be played out over three weekdays in half-hour episodes. Although those involved in the case were actors, the jury was made up of members of the general public from the local Granada Television area and it was this jury alone which decided the verdict.

Synopsis: Electrician, David Moston, claims he stumbled in on an impromtu birthday party thrown by a group of female factory workers. He then alleges that he was pounced on by them while they were in a drunken state and he was held on the ground. Now three of these women are accussed of indecent assault.
