Pentillie is a 17th century castle and 2,000 acre estate located on the banks of the River Tamar, near the village of St Mellion in Cornwall. Pentillie has been the seat of the Coryton family since 1698. The current owners Ted and Sarah Coryton inherited the property from the wife of one of Ted's cousins.

There had been many disputes and musch heartache for the family in the years leading up to inheriting it, and the family at frst were determined to sell it. However Ted and Sarah and their children fell in love with the castle and its grounds, and want to make a go of running the, now, very run down estate. The problem is that with the castle comes a £6million inheritence tax bill, so the desperately need Ruth's professional advice to turn the estates fortunes around and save their ancestral home.
