Boon was an easy-going, light-hearted U.K. drama about a prematurely-retired firefighter, KEN BOON, who becomes a sort of freelance troubleshooter, and later, an official private eye in the British Midlands.
In the fifth series, Harry has evidently gone up in the world since he sold Woodcote Park because he now drives a Jaguar XJ6.

Harry has a contract to guard the puppies that a pedigree Afghan hound is expecting.
A Scottish footballer, Willie Connolly, wants Ken to act as his minder. Ken is warned off by a Glaswegian, who tells him to pass on the message to

Willie that "he's got twenty-four hours". Meanwhile Willie's wife turns up. Ken suspects that Willie's manager, Bob Barnet, is not all that he seems.
Smudger, the landlord of the local pub, asks Harry to organise the pub's football team for their match with a team from a nearby prison.
