Anthropology professor Ben Waggoner, of the University of Central Arkansas, defends evolution as a science while adding a surprising twist to his defense! In one of Dr. Hovind's favourite debates (taped February 2002), he presents evolution as an un-scientific religion and challenges the theory of reptiles, birds, mammals and crocodiles having one common ancestor. Why do today's textbooks contain the theory of gill slits in bird, reptile and mammal embroyos, when this was disproven in 1875? Dr. Hovind states, "Why wonder when our children act like animals, if we teach them their ancestors were apes?"
