An aviation industry journal recently argued that given the human stresses
involved in their approach, low-cost airlines such as Ryanair should take a
safety audit. Right on cue, here's an undercover investigation from Dispatches
into how Ryanair operates - and what it uncovers isn't pretty. You can't help
feeling that, given how absurdly little passengers pay for European flights
(5p to Gdansk, anyone?), corners are bound to be cut somewhere. But if this
film gets the no-frills carriers to tighten up, so much the better.
