Season 2, Episode 1: Dream Chasers

Expedition leader Russell Brice is back on the North side of Everest for the 2007 climbing season with a team of new climbers - and some familiar faces. After the Sherpas summit for the first time of the season, fixing the safety ropes along the way, the team watch from Advanced Base Camp as two climbers summit hours after the Sherpas and begin a dangerous descent.

Season 2, Episode 2: On the Ropes

The climbers face their first big test when they must reach a high camp by the deadline fixed by expedition leader Russell Brice. The climb is especially hard on Betsy, whose inexperience is threatening her summit dreams.

Season 2, Episode 3: Judgement Day
Original Air Date—13 November 2007
After a harrowing climb to Camp Two, the climbers go all the way down to Base Camp for a few days of rest. Expedition leader Russell Brice meets with each climber for an assessment of their performance - and to learn if they will be allowed to try for the summit. Meanwhile, British climber David Tait and Phurba Tashi are getting ready to leave for their record setting attempt at the first double traverse of Everest.

Season 2, Episode 4: World Record
Original Air Date—20 November 2007
After Russell announces the two summit teams, the expedition leaves for their summit attempts while David Tait and Phurba Tashi are getting close to the top. At Advanced Base Camp, some of the dangers of Everest are highlighted as expedition doctor Monica Piris cares for a climber who developed pulmonary edema near the summit and a Japanese climber whose lack of proper gear resulted in serious frostbite.

Season 2, Episode 5: Long Way Down

Russell gives Team One a final talk before their summit attempt. After reaching the summit for a first time, David Tait and Phurba Tashi are descending on the South side - out of radio contact.

eason 2, Episode 6: The Death Zone
Original Air Date—4 December 2007
One day after Team One's departure for the summit, it's Team Two's turn to leave for their summit attempt. Mogens Jensen is still determined to summit without oxygen after three unsuccessful attempts. He leaves Advanced Base Camp. The team is once again reminded of the dangers they face on the mountain when an Irish climber is brought to see expedition doctor Monica Piris with a painful case of snow blindness.

Season 2, Episode 7: Breaking Point
Original Air Date—11 December 2007
Now in the death zone, Team One leaves camp in the middle of the night for their summit push as Russell watches from the North Col. On the way to the summit, one climber is injured, but chooses not to tell Russell in fear of being ordered to turn around.

Season 2, Episode 8: Now or Never
Original Air Date—18 December 2007
It's now Team Two's turn to go for the summit. Among the climbers trying to reach the top of the world are Danish Mogens Jensen who, after three unsuccessful attempts, is now hoping he'll finally make it, and Japanese Katsusuke Yanagisawa, who, at 71 years old, will become the oldest person to reach the summit of Everest - if he can make it. After both teams come back to Base Camp, they reflect on how their Everest experience has changed them.
