PLOT
Wayne und Garth sind zwei völlig durchgeknallte Heavy Metal Kids, die Alice Cooper und "Babes" anhimmeln und ihre Nachbarschaft mit ihrer harmlos-doofen Fernsehshow "Wayne's World" im Lokalsender auf Trab halten. Als der durchtriebene Produzent Oliver die Blödelei in der Glotze miterlebt, wittert er das große Geschäft. Doch schnell begreifen sogar sie, daß sie nur ein Spielball sind. Der auf ihnen lastende Druck entzweit Wayne und Garth. Als auch noch die Liebe zu der schicken Rockmieze Cassandra bedroht scheint, zieht Wayne einen Schlußstrich und entscheidet sich für seine Freunde.
