Dirty Vegas are a Grammy Award-winning British house music trio from London, made up of Ben Harris and Paul Harris [no relation] on instruments/production and Steve Smith on vocals, that was formed in 2001. The group broke up in 2005, but reformed in December 2008 to record new material. Dirty Vegas' debut release was entitled 'Days Go By'. When originally released it made the top 30 in 2001, but when re-issued in 2002 reached the United Kingdom top 20. They released their self-titled album in June 2002 and released a second album entitled 'One' in 2004.
'Days Go By' is a song by the band Dirty Vegas from their eponymous album. In 2001 the song peaked at No.1 in the US Dance Charts and No.27 in the UK Charts and became a radio hit in 2002, peaking at No.14 in the U.S., and received the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. 'Days Go By' received significant public exposure in a commercial for the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The music video for the song is unusual in that it largely consists of two dancers representing one character performing a routine of popping, locking, the robot and breakdancing in front of a restaurant in East Los Angeles, California. The video was also filmed there. The young dancer in the video is Garland Spencer. The older dancer is Byron McIntyre.
