These are all songs/videos that have been selected by myself, and have been a success commercially, or simply because they are some of my all-time favourites. I hope you like them too. [skirgsk]

D:Ream was a Northern Irish pop rock / synthpop and dance band of the 1990s. They had one UK No.1 hit with the re-release of 'Things Can Only Get Better', two Top 10 hits coupled with four Top 20 hits: the re-release of 'U R The Best Thing', 'Take Me Away', 'Party Up the World', and the second re-release of 'Things Can Only Get Better' plus five other releases that all reached the UK Singles Chart. In 2008 D:Ream reformed after a chance meeting by Cunnah and Mackenzie. They have recorded a track 'Gods In The Making' which features Diane Charlemagne, and are currently recording a new album for release later.

'Things Can Only Get Better' took several months to reach the top of the UK Singles Chart. Originally a club hit, pop success took much longer for the song - initially it reached only No.24 on the singles chart, in January 1993. Band member Al Mackenzie left later that year and remaining member Peter Cunnah took the band in a more pop friendly direction. 'Things Can Only Get Better' was remixed and became an instant hit spending four weeks at No.1 in January 1994. In 1997 the track was adopted by the UK Labour Party as their theme for the 1997 UK General Election, in an attempt to reflect the need for change. On the back of this use it returned to the chart reaching No.19 in May 1997.
