Once in a lifetime an act comes around that changes the rules of the game forever. Sometimes they were called Mozart, sometimes The Beatles, sometimes Neutral Milk Hotel.
This time, they\\\'re called Will Markow.
You see, Will Markow doesn\\\'t make music for idle listeners, nonchalants who open their ears every once in a while in hopes of hearing an easy soft-rock ballad or pop hit. No, Will Markow is music for the true music fan. From the few songs that he\\\'s released one can conclude that he is completely unique - from the indie-esque stylings of Eee to the countrypop ballad of Ooo (which features striking harmonization wherein Markow almost invokes the ghost of Elliott Smith), to the sonic experimentation of Yeh. Markow even pays homage to the great throat singers of the inuit on Nya.
Though his album remains unreleased, expect great things from this new sensation. The future of music rests on his shoulders.
