Porky's Revenge has never been seen in its original aspect ratio on any video format. Even the recent DVD box set released in Canada, used a shoddy, cropped VHS source. Luckily, INHD rectified this grave injustice, by airing it just once, at 5am, to make sure the potential audience was maximized. That is why their logo appears in the bottom right of the image, barely a distraction to director James Komack's inspired misc en scene. One could easily see that his time spent arranging the Sweathogs of Welcome Back, Kotter was not wasted, especially with his use of vaseline on the lens to give everything a softer look, and allow his actors to defy aging. Clearly, Bob Clark's original and sequel could not match Komack's mastery here. The cast soon realized this as well and stated many times publically that the third film could never be topped, so they agreed, whether it was a success or not, that they would never make another Porky's film again.
The details of the story are inconsequential, but, as efilmcritic.com's Hawkboy* put it so eloquently, "there's a plot about basketball or something."
Recorded onto an HD-DVR. Downconverted via s-video to SD-DVD, and converted to divx via Auto GK.
