Episodes Include:
1930 - Hog Wild - Mrs. Hardy insists that Oliver mount the radio aerial on the roof before he goes off gallivanting with his friend Stanley. But with Stanley's assistance, Oliver spends more time falling off the roof than atop it. Making one last attempt, Oliver climbs to the top of a ladder he's mounted on his Model T Ford, but just then Stanley accidentally starts the car. A wild ride through the streets of Culver City culminates in an unscheduled streetcar stop.
1931 - Be Big - On their way to the train station with their wives for a vacation in Atlantic City, Stanley and Oliver get a phone call from a fellow lodge member who tells them a surprise stag party in their honor is being held that evening. Oliver feigns illness to get out of the trip, and the wives head off to the train station by themselves. Stanley's attempts to help Oliver get into his lodge uniform turn into a series of disasters. Meanwhile, the wives miss the last train and, returning to discover the deception, come after their husbands with shotguns.
1929 - Big Business - Stan and Ollie are Christmas tree salesmen in California. Business is slow and a simple argument with one grumpy prospective customer (James Finlayson) escalates from a simple argument into full scale mutual destruction with Stan & Ollie destroying the customers house and garden, whilst Finlayson reduces their car to scrap metal, all under the disbelieving gaze of a police officer and an assembled crowd.
1933 - Busy Bodies- Being employed as carpenters, Stanley and Oliver stumble through a hilarious parade of self-inflicted mishaps, only to retreat hastily...and drive their car into a band saw.
1931 - Laughing Gravy - Stanley and Oliver try unsuccessfully to keep their pet dog, "Laughing Gravy" hidden from their grumpy landlord, who throws the pooch out into the snow. The rescue and further attempts to hide the dog result in mayhem, which is interrupted by the arrival of a registered letter informing Stanley that he's inherited a fortune from his rich uncle. There's one catch, though: he has to renounce his friendship with Oliver, who the uncle characterizes as a "nitwit."
1933 - Sons of the Desert - The boys sneak off to a convention, telling their wives that Ollie requires a restful cruise to Hawaii to recuperate but all is not peaceful when the suspicious wives discover the ship sank.
1932 - The Music Box- The Laurel & Hardy Moving Company struggles to deliver a piano to a house at the top of an insurmountable staircase. Winner of a 1932 Oscar for Best Comedy Short.
1932 - Towed in a Hole - Laurel and Hardy are in the fish business. They drive around town seeing if they can sell any. Stan suggests they catch their own fish and could keep all the profits when selling them to people. Ollie likes the idea so they buy a boat at the junk yard and try, sometimes unsuccessfully, to fix it up. When the boat is finally fixed up, the whole operation goes south.
1928 - We Faw Down - Stan & Ollie are stuck at home with their wives, unable to sneak out to a poker game. When their friends call to ask why they're delayed, Ollie pretends it's their boss, inviting them to a show at the Orpheum Theatre. En route to the poker game, the boys offer to assist two young women, Kay & Vera, who are trying to retrieve Kay's hat from under a car. The boys also attempt to retrieve the hat, but are doused with water when a street-cleaning truck passes. The ladies invite them to their apartment to dry off. Meanwhile, Mrs. Laurel & Mrs. Hardy hear that the Orpheum Theatre is on fire, and rush out for news. While the boys relax in dressing gowns, Kay flirts with Stan, but he resists her. Suddenly, her tough boyfriend "One-Round" Kelly returns, finds Stan & Ollie, and pulls a knife on them. They escape out a window frantically pulling on their clothes, unaware that they're been seen doing so by their wives. On their return home, the boys tell an elaborate tale of the show they attended at the Orpheum that day-- until Stan notices the afternoon paper's headline, ORPHEUM THEATRE BURNS. Mrs. Hardy exits to fetch her hunting rifle . . .
