Since August 2008 the official ESET update servers (for trial versions) have been
upgraded and protected with an username/password. Most fixes that were already
available were based on resetting the trial period for ESET Trial versions, so it
could update the virus definitions from an official ESET update server.
Now all those fixes don't work anymore, or at least they can't update anymore from the
official ESET update servers, so we need a new way to still get the latest virus
definition files.

Basically there are still a few ways left on how to get your ESET product updates the
latest virus definitions. In this package you will find the ESET products downloaded
from the official ESET site (http://www.eset.com) AND just a minor registry fix that
will let your ESET product update from an alternative/mirror/third party update server.

As explained earlier this is one of the few ways to still get an update without any
modifications to the installation or use of other external programs (like NODLogin).
