Sessions at MegaPlatinum #1 :: SITUATION :: January 29, 2009
ABOUT THE BAND:
"Situation" consists of James Greco and Brendan Burke, longtime Brooklynites who push the boundaries of riff and groove. Brendan's lyrical musings are often quite poignant and the duo spends significantly more time in "on target territory" than it's less-than-ideal counterpart.
ABOUT THE SESSIONS AT MEGAPLATINUM:
The Sessions at MegaPlatinum is a semi regular affair happening at the MegaPlatinum loft in Brooklyn NY. The project, heavily inspired by the work of the late John Peel, is an attempt to take our favorite bands, put them in a different environment for a few days, push the boundaries of their comfort zone, see what happens, and release whatever comes out of it a few days later in a variety of digital formats online. The goal for 2009 is to host 25 to 30 different bands / sessions at the MegaPlatinum Studio and spread the releases in the most righteous of ways all over the world.
