note - I guessed at the titles for all Jesserit songs.
What seemed like a sell-out show at The Brook, i.e. it was jam packed!, ... A very friendly & responsive crowd, so plenty of atmosphere on this one. A very decent sound on the night is represented nicely here by my recording... & What a GREAT show it was!!
Checkout the samplers in the thread below to get a feel for the sound on this one.
Note - I've included in this seed the opening support band, Jesserit, who did a great little set, as it fits nicely on CD2 and gives you the full gig. If you don't want it you should deselect the tracks 2.09 to 2.14 on CD2 in your torrent client.
For those interested - basic details of the mastering applied to my original JB3 recording (using Wavelab5) are as follows:
A: EQ / Multiband Compression / Limiting (-0.2dB max)
B: WAVs edited to fit on to 2xCDRs including overlap plus fades in & out
C: track split
A note for any finicky audiophiles out there:
Mastering has been done to polish the raw master recording with the aim of enhancing the listening experience. If you prefer virgin recordings, unspoiled by any such amateur 'dabbling' then do not join in on this one. Be warned now ... I don't want any whinging! ;-)
But for the rest of you Dimers I recommend that you GO FOR THIS ONE ... you won't be disappointed!
I score the sound quality as 9 out of 10 ( = A- );
but hey! ... don't flame me if you don't agree ... & at least keep it friendly ;-)
If you have any comments, whether positive, negative or otherwise, I would love to read them ... don't be a lurker!
