The raucous ska-punk sounds of Reel Big Fish began gaining favor in the mid 1990s and continued to gain serious momentum well into the 2000s. While their Southern California party-hard vibe was linked to the likes of No Doubt and Sublime, Reel Big Fish were distinguished by their horn section, which gives their sound slightly vintage ska charm.
