Notes: This is a great radio broadcast from a time when Stevie Ray Vaughan wasn't yet a household name. This was broadcast on FM99 WNOR from 'The King's Head Inn' in Norfolk Virginia. It was a rather small club near the ODU campus that could maybe hold around 100 people or so. Take note that some versions call this venue the King's Bay Inn. This is incorrect. The venue has always been called The King's Head Inn right up until in closed many years ago(I know this, because I live in the area).

This is what was broadcast by FM99, but there does exist a recording of the entire show. If anyone can share the rest of it with us in FLAC format, I beg of you to do so. It would mean a lot to me to have the entire performance from a long lost legend playing a long lost venue that meant so much to the Norfolk area.

I obtained this from a friend who is an avid collector of blues bootlegs, so I have no idea the lineage of his copy, other than it was from a original tape recorded from the radio. I did a direct rip from his CD-R to .wav, then took the time to smooth out a few rough spots in the broadcast (crossfades with Audacity). None of this was during the music. I only did it to help the show flow together better. It was mainly during DJ chatter and between songs. so do not freak out hardcore collectors.

** For best results when burning to CD-R, always use the "DISC AT ONCE" or "NO GAPS" option in your burning software. **

Again, if anyone can upload a lossless verison of the rest of the show, please do so.
