The Glam/Sleaze band Alleycat Scratch had its roots in San Francisco in the late 80's, but in 1991 they moved to Los Angeles and became a popular "Sunset Strip" band. They released "Deadboys In Trash City" on an independent label in 1993. By then the musical tides were changing and, unable to score a record deal or launch a tour, the band broke up.
The original album became very rare and in 2006 it had a limited re-release by a small label. 2 bonus tracks were included. "Love Song" was from a porn film "Backdoor To The City Of Sin" and I Don't Like Mondays was a live recording of The Boomtown Rats song.
