Rutger Hauer always seems to look good in almost any movie. Deathline is a testament to his charisma.
The plot is that he is returning to a very corrupt Russia to get revenge on Mark Dacassos, his former partner who tried to kill him. Dacassos thinks Rutger is dead, and has made many profitable allies in the Russian Government. They also want Rutger dead, so he won\\\'t interfere in the illegal activities that Dacassos is running with various officials as his partners. Therefore since everyone is trying to kill Rutger, and there is a bounty on his head, the movie is pretty much a string of shootouts from the beginning until the end. Then after each shootout Rutger finds himself in the arms of some young Russian model who is quickly topless and trying to have some kind of sexual activity with Rutger. Mark Dacassos also gets his share of scenes with naked women. There really is nothing thought provoking about Deathline. It is strictly sexual situations with pretty models and violent gun-play and some explosions. The pace is pretty fast, so while it may not have much substance, the action is non-stop!
