Alpha galates brings a melodic and aggressive sound to the subgenre of progressive rock/metal. Formerly known as the Hollo and originated in Alberta, but are now based in Toronto Ontario. The rough (most of the time) style of the lead singers vocals, the crunching rhythem guitar riffs, good lead guitar riffs, ausom base playing, backbreaking drum solos, and mysterious sounding keyboard playing, it's hard not to enjoy this album.
This is the deluxe edition, so it features three bonus tracks.

Standard Disc
The opener, "2 Months In", mixes the sounds of alternative rock with aggressive hard rock. The first single from the album, "Standing, features a sound that is like three days grace on sterroids. The song "Natio", brings a little of Tool influence into their sound, as well as "Passion."
Obitus, is a more melodic and soft song out of the songs on the album.

Bonus Disc
From the menacing opening song "The Predator, the very melodic "Stop And Start Again", to the 17+ minute masterpiece of a song "Vita", these three songs are hard to overlook.
