Before I saw An Inconvenient Truth, I read countless comments from people supposedly debunking it. I went into it with that negative expectation, assuming it would be all hype and no substance. What I discovered was that the label of all hype and no substance really was earned by those claiming to debunk the movie, who either clearly had never watched it or else watched it and failed to understand it (perhaps refusing to listen and only listening for soundbites to try to debunk). Whether you agree or disagree with Al Gore's message in this movie, you owe it to yourself to watch it with an open mind. You can't try to debunk it if you don't even know what it really says (and you won't know what it really says just by listening to selected soundbites). Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, check out the trailer, then find a way to watch the whole movie.
