The intro reads:

This is the story of an original people;
the Mahto band of the Teton Sioux.
They live as one with the land as
their Grandfathers have for centuries
finding beauty and mystery in the sky,
earth and all creatures.
Soon the white man will come west,
his plowshare will divide the land.
But for now, the Mahto people are
their own masters, living in the old ways,
the ways of the Grandfathers...


This is a mini series that showed on television in 1984 staring Robert Beltran, Devon Ericson and James Remar.
This has not been released on DVD and is extremely hard to find. This copy was converted from a VHS recording, but the quality is still ok.
I've looked all over for a better copy, but this is the best
I've found. If you find something better let me know.
