The lives of Bill and Sharon dissolve one sweltering day when the sunbathing Sharon literally melts on the beach. An obnoxious old neighbor, Mr. Bile, takes time away from his metal detecting obsession to help Bill get her back to the factory in Pittsburgh to be re-molded.
