Immersed in nature, probably towards the French-Belgian, lives a strange, small people omini blue: the Smurfs. Are not gnomes nor elves, no dwarves! Immerso nella natura, probabilmente verso il confine franco-belga, vive uno strano popolo di piccoli omini blu: i puffi. Non sono gnomi, nè elfi, nè nani! I puffi sono dei simpatici e strani personaggi tutti blu che vestono con pantaloni e un grande cappello bianchi, tranne Grande Puffo che è vestito di rosso. I Puffi vivono in un villaggio dove le casette sono dei bellissimi e coloratissimi funghi. I nostri amichetti blu mettono in comune tutto: dal proprio lavoro alle puffbacche di cui si nutrono e che raccolgono nel bosco. Questo simpatico popolo non ha delle leggi prestabilite come noi che devono rispettare, essi sono guidati e illuminati da Grande puffo che è sempre attento a proteggere i suoi puffi dal malvagio mago Gargamella e dal suo gatto Birba.

I puffi del villaggio sono tantissimi: circa un centinaio, ognuno con il suo carattere e le sue qualità, anche se spiccano tra tutti il puffo quattrocchi, puffetta (l'unica puffo femmina), il puffo golosone, puffo burlone , il puffo inventore, puffo forzuto, vanitoso e tanti altri puffi e personaggi del cartone animato.
