Plot.Outline: Nach einer mißglückten Verfolgungsjagd auf
eine Bande Drogengangster werden die
Polizisten Riggs und Murtaugh mit dem
belanglosen Auftrag betraut, einen kleinen
Buchmacher bis zu dessen Gerichtsaussage zu
schützen. Der jedoch arbeitete für genau die
Organisation, hinter der die beiden her sind,
und seine Informationen führen direkt in die
südafrikanische Botschaft. Das Diplomaten-Corps
wird als skrupelloses Drogensyndikat entlarvt,
und Riggs und Murtaugh bringen nach einigen
fehlgeschlagenen Attentaten auf ihr Leben
die Gangster zur Strecke.
