An artistic glimpse into everyday life of liutaio Ottavio Stokovaz, extraordinary man famous in Istria for making a series of bajs (pronounced something like byce). It is a local two-stringed instrument bigger than cello, but smaller than contrabass, typical for Istria and some parts of Slovenia, Italy and Hungary.
Ottavio shared his living place with his workshop, instruments, his dog Slinko and many, many other people that visited him. In this film by hungarian group of authors, we see him with his companion Lazo and postman Vicenzo the way he actually lived - a mix of chatting, joking, cooking and bajs-making.
