With the Authority in flames, TruBlood in short supply and humans and vampires in
open conflict, a plethora of new threats arise for Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin)
and her Bon Temps allies in Season Six of the hit HBO series. As Billith comes to
terms with his new powers after emerging from a pool of blood at the close of Season
Five, Louisiana governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) declares open season on
vampires, replete with novel anti-vamp weapons and a high-tech internment camp.
Meanwhile, Sookie and Jason steel themselves for an encounter with the killer of
their parents: the mysterious and ancient Warlow.

A long lost relative reveals himself to Jason and Sookie. After Tara is
victimized by a new government weapon, Eric takes matters into his own
hands in an effort to thwart Burrells anti-vampire initiatives. On the
road to work, Sookie is drawn to a handsome stranger who shares her fae
abilities. Sam is unnerved by a supernatural-rights zealot named Nicole,
and is confronted by Alcide and Martha about Emmas future.
Bill contemplates the scope of his heightened powers.
