This method does not require a MAC address change, or any patches.

It is using a keygen and the offline activation function of Guitar Pro 6.



Follow the EXACT steps described in this file when installing.

For most of the operations specified here you will need administrative privileges for the PC on which you are installing.

DISCONNECT FROM INTERNET FIRST (unplug cable / disable wireless from hardware switch on laptops)

IMPORTANT Note:

The keygen used in this pack did not trigger any false positive alerts in any AV programs I have tested with (Avira, Nod32, AVG)
Also, I have used this keygen and I am 1000% sure it is clean and virus free. (I tested tons of fake keygens before this one and got
my test virtual machines infected again and again)

However, some users observed that McAfee reports this as a trojan, but this is a false positive. You need to disable the realtime
scan before following the instructions bellow.
If this worries you, you should not be on a torrent site and use modified/hacked software.
Go buy the original in the first place. :-)


1. extract GP6.zip.

2. Run install.exe as administrator and follow the onscreen instructions carefully.

3. Done. :-)

4. (optional) To install the Soundbanks (makes GP6 sound awsome)
a. close GP6
b. Double click \\\\Sound Banks (RSE) -
c. GP6 will open and the soundbanks will install.
d. restart GP6 after the process is done and you are good to go.


5. YOU CAN RECONNECT THE INTERNET NOW (You did miss it right?...). :-)


This pack survived reinstalls, AV scans and all the other trials all the other did not.
All credit goes to the folks that developed teh components of this package, I only compiled them in an easy to
install set and scripted the install.exe.
