DivX Plus est une suite de logiciels qui inclut le codec DivX. Ce codec est très utilisé car il permet de compresser un gros fichier vidéo en un fichier plus léger tout en conservant celui-ci dans une bonne qualité. Il est donc possible de lire un DivX sur le lecteur de DivX Network mais également à partir de n’importe quel autre lecteur comme Windows Media Player qui à l\'origine ne peut pas lire les DivX. DivX Plus inclut DivX Plus Player pour lire les vidéos, DivX Plus Converter pour convertir des fichiers vidéo, DivX Plus Web Player pour lire les vidéos à partir d\'un navigateur et DivX Plus Codec Pack. Cette nouvelle version du logiciel a surtout vu comme nouveauté une refonte de son interface ainsi qu\'une mise à jour des codecs vidéo. DivX Plus lit tous les formats DivX quelle que soit la version et propose de nombreuses options de haute qualité. Le lecteur est optimisé pour supporter la qualité optimale des DivX Haute Définition (HD) jusqu\'à 1080p. Il supporte également le MP3 surround afin de pouvoir profiter des films en 5.1. Comme tout bon lecteur multimédia, il supporte la gestion des sous-titres, des chapitres ou encore des menus interactifs. En marge de ces derniers paramètres, les fonctionnalités habituelles sont présentes telles que la création de listes de lecture ainsi que la gestion de celles-ci.
