Episode 1 - The Main Mew's Muse

(Note: This was originally episode 12 in the Japanese version. 4Kids made this into a "premiere episode" and changed the ending. Then they took this episode out of the main English dubbed storyline.)

The 5 Mew Mews are finally all together and now they learn the true meaning of the mission ahead of them and the animals they are infused with. Zoey, the Wild Mountain Cat; Corina, the Rare Blue Lorikeet; Bridget, the Black Finless Porpoise; Kikki, the Golden Tamarind Lion Monkey; Renee, the Grey Wolf.

Their mission; to save the world from invading aliens called the Cyniclons, who are using creatures called Infusers to create Predasites out of animals to destroy mankind. But all Zoey wants is a normal life with her boyfriend, Mark. After school, he shows her an early blossoming cherry tree that, to him, represents the importance of being different. Soon it turns out that Cyniclon Dren has plans for that tree along with 4 others and it's up to Zoey and the other Mew Mews to destroy them before the trees poison the city. But with Mark at the scene of the attack, will he find out Zoey's secret?

Episode 2 - The Mew Kid In Town

We go back to the beginning when normal high-school girl, Zoey Hanson, asks her crush, Mark, out on a date to the Endangered Animals Exhibit. After the exhibit, there's a huge earthquake and a bright light surrounds Zoey. Then next day, she notices weird things happening to her like being able to land on her feet after falling from high places, having a sudden craving for fish and having an uncontrollable urge to say cat puns.

Mark meets up with her but she runs off before he can notice her antics. While following her, he gets attacked by a giant rat monster, which goes after Zoey next. She's soon saved by a boy named Elliot who tells her about her new "animal instinct" and helps her transform. She defeats the monster but has so many questions about what's happened to her.

Episode 3 - Mew Two

Zoey gets taken to Cafe Mew Mew, a secret hideout that Elliot and Wesley designed as a cover for their mission. There, Elliot explains that it was them who infused Zoey with the DNA of the Iriomote Wildcat. Her first mission is to find 4 other teammates who have also have a Mew Mew mark, showing that they're infused with animal DNA as well. She is also given a robot who she names Mini-Mew, who helps her detect Predasites and Aliens.

While walking home, she meets a rich, snobby girl named Corina who gives her a handkerchief since her dog, Mickey, licked Zoey in the face. The next night, Mini-Mew detects a Predasite near Corina. So Zoey goes to her house. It turns out that Mickey is taken over by an Infuser. During the fight, Zoey finds out that Corina is the next Mew Mew!

Episode 4 - Pooltergeist

While running late to school, Zoey bumps into a girl named Bridget who she ends up seeing again at Cafe Mew Mew later on. She overhears a group of girls consisting of the 3 Beckys and Bridget discussing rumors of a ghost girl haunting their school, Excaliber High. The 3 Beckys try to bully Bridget into taking a picture of the ghost but are stopped by Zoey.

Corina then thinks that the so called ghost is really a Predasite that can control water. So she literally drags Zoey to the school on a leash. At the school they find out that it's not a ghost at all. It's Bridget gaining her Mew Mew powers! Frustrated with all she's been through, she attacks Zoey and Corina but after a pep-talk, she joins the team. The next day, Zoey heads to school but is suddenly kissed by a Cyniclon named Dren!

Episode 5 - The Lion Thing

Remembering how Dren kissed her and warned her that he'll see her again, Zoey is now embarrassed and worried that he might come back while she's hanging out with Mark. So Zoey tries her best to ignore Mark, but this proves difficult when he invites her to a petting zoo at the local amusement park. She turns him down and gets depressed about it. Luckily Mini-Mew detects a Predasite at the park and the date is back on.

But Dren does attack again and Zoey has to leave Mark behind to fight. With the help of Corina and Bridget, Zoey beats the Predasite and tries to find Mark. When she finally does, she finds him angry at her for leaving him. Will they be able to make up?

Episode 6 - Gymewstics

While running late for school again, Zoey almost gets ran over by a truck but she uses her new cat powers to jump over it. This catches the eye of the school's Gymnastics Club captain, Mary-Lou. She and her teammates try to get Zoey to join. At first, Zoey doesn't want to but after seeing how good the leotard looks on her, she accepts. But it turns out that it's too much work than she bargained for.

That night Zoey thinks about quitting but Mark runs into her and says that he'll cheer for her in her first competition which causes her to train harder than ever.

On the day of the competition, it seems that Mark isn't going to show which makes Zoey nervous. But, luckily, he arrives and the show is back on! Suddenly, Dren attacks and Zoey, Bridget and Corina now have to stop a giant seal Predasite. Afterwards, Zoey finishes the competition with her gymnastic teammates and gets 2nd place.

Episode 7 - Party 'Til You Mew

Zoey has to work on a Sunday, which makes her more cranky than usual. While sweeping outside the cafe, she meets a woman named Maria Rivera, who speaks Spanish. She freaks out but soon Mark shows up and he, luckily, knows little Spanish and helps her out. It turns out that Maria was invited by Elliot and Wesley to play piano at a party and the Mew Mews are invited.

But Cyniclon Dren has a new trick up his sleeve. He figures out that he can make a more powerful Predasite by combining Infusers with human spirits and his first attempt is with Maria's! The Mew Mew's seem to be outmatched but with some help from Elliot, they are finally able to defeat it and save Maria.

Episode 8 - Monkey See, Monkey Mew

Zoey is heading back to the Cafe after going to the store for supplies. Tired of working, she decides to rest at the park. There, she finds a girl named Kikki who's performing for money. She pops up next to Zoey and does an act and keeps following her after Zoey doesn't pay. Kikki soon scares Zoey into making her ears and tail pop out. Kikki then asks Zoey if she can teach her how to get cat ears so she can make more money, causing a huge chase scene to occur.

Zoey soon gets mad at her and tells her to go home, but later at the Cafe, Corina tells Zoey that Kikki lives in a shelter and this causes her to feel bad for what she says. Dren, meanwhile, is trying to find human spirits to create a Predasite army and decides to get Kikki's next. The Mew Mews face off against him and a lizard Predasite. But when it looks like things are looking bad, they find out that Kikki is the 4th Mew Mew!

Episode 9 - Spa Blahs!

Now that Kikki is part of the Mew Mew team, the Cafe is now overwhelmed with customers! But, luckily for the girls, relief is around the corner. A mailman gives Bridget a delivery and it turns out that she won a vacation for her and her friends to go to the Pampered Princess Resort and Spa!

But while at the hot spring, the girls find out that the resort won't be up until the next year. They soon run into a boy named Marco, who looks exactly like Mark and even shares the same views about the environment! He's against the construction for the resort, knowing that it would endanger the wildlife around the area.

Meanwhile, Dren decides to use Marco's spirit for his next Predasite creation. So the girls now have to save him.

Episode 10 - Do Mew Want To Dance?

Zoey has a date with Mark coming up but doesn't have any money to buy a new dress for the occasion. So, she ask Corina if she can borrow on for hers. She agrees so the Mew Mew's head off to Corina's mansion. There, they find out that she has an older brother named Sergio who she used to be close with but they grew apart as they grew older.

At the cost of her date with Mark, Zoey decides that she and the other Mew Mews must bring the 2 siblings back together by trying to talk Sergio into coming to Corina's ballet performance. He decides to come but Dren comes in and attacks with a Ballet Bird Predasite. Sergio tries to protect Corina but gets knocked out. Now it's up to Corina to take this Predasite down.

After the fight, Corina tells Sergio that she understands why he can't spend much time with her anymore and the he has to go. Sergio then gives her some flowers, telling her that even if he's gone, he will always be proud of her.

Episode 11 - Hollywood Mew Mew

Bridget storms into Cafe Mew Mew with a magazine, declaring an emergency. Zoey looks and starts reading about a mysterious girl who fights monsters at night. Zoey and Bridget are afraid that someone's found out about them but, thanks to Kikki, they find out that it isn't any of them. But it's soon obvious that the mysterious figure is the last member of their team! Corina comes in and thanks to one of her idol photo books, they find out that the girl is famous singer, Renee Roberts! Elliot then sends them to an audition to a TV show to see if she's really the last member but Renee denies it.

That night, the girls go to the scene of a Predasite alert to find Renee and Dren with a bunch of Crow Predasite. He declares that Renee is there to join the Cyniclons. But it turns out that it's just a trap set by Renee to defeat Dren. After the fight, Renee says that she's not interested in joining the Mew Mews, which shocks the girls. How can they save the world if they're not together?

Episode 12 - The Taming Of The Mew

Corina's been depressed ever since Renee refused to join the Mew Mews. Zoey decides that they have to keep talking to Renee until she joins.

They find out that the best place to go is the local broadcasting studio after work hours. But when they arrive, Dren is already there with her. He sends Corina, Bridget and Kikki to a different dimension and says that the only way he'll let them go is if Zoey and Renee fight each other and that the winner must join him.

Dren then attacks again during a live television broadcast and Zoey attempts to fight a snake Predasite, but it's too much for her. Renee saves the other 3 Mew Mews and they all rush to Zoey's aid. Soon, they find out that when their powers are all together, they combine into a more powerful force and they use this to defeat the Predasite.

Renee, then realizes how strong they all are as a team and finally decides to join. But the celebration is cut short when they find out that their fight was broadcasted on live TV and now everyone knows about the Mew Mews!

Episode 13 - Slime And Slime Again

(Note: This episode was changed quite a bit from the original. Since episode 12 was changed to episode 1(which the story now doesn't exist in the main storyline), 4Kids changed Ichigo from being scared that Aoyama recognized her from the cherry tree incident to Zoey being scared that Mark recognized her on TV.

This was also the season 1 finale according to the 4Kids schedule.)

Zoey's afraid that Mark saw her as a Mew Mew on TV and is trying to avoid him in any way possible. Meanwhile, Dren starts thinking of a plan to get rid of Mark out of jealousy.

Mark's big Kendo tournament is coming up and Zoey knows that he'd feel bad if she didn't show up. So she decides to see it. Mark finds her and she runs off. He stops her but before he can get a word in, Dren attacks. Now Zoey must save at the cost of him probably finding out her secret. She transforms and tries to fight off the Predasite, but it has the advantage against her attack.

It's not until she uses a special power(most likely from Mark), that she's able to win. Mark wakes up and tells her that she reminds him of a girl he knows. She's relieved to know that he doesn't recognize her and leaves. Later Mark, not wanting to lose Zoey again, gives her a cat bell choker as a gift.

Deep Blue ends up angry at Dren's constant failures and sends two more Cyniclons named Sardon and Tarb to take his place.

Episode 14 - Butterflies Are Freaky

(Note: This is the first episode of season 2 according to the 4Kids' schedule.)

Zoey, while trying to meet up with Mark, runs into a young lady named Chrys, a scientist who studies butterflies. Meanwhile, at the Cafe, Wesley is working hard on a birthday cake design, which makes the girls wonder who he's making it for. The only clue is that there's a date circled on the calendar the next day.

On that day, Zoey is feeling a little down that she still hasn't seen Mark. She runs into Chrys again, who accidently pushes her into the lake. She takes Zoey to her apartment, where Zoey finds a date circled on her calendar. Chrys admits that it's her birthday.

That night, Elliot confirms that Chrys was Wesley's ex-girlfriend and that he makes a birthday cake every year to show regret that he forgot hers when they used to date. So the Mew Mews decide to get them back together.

But Cyniclons Sardon and Tarb have other plans. They use Chrys' spirit to create a Butterfly Predasite. The Mew Mews try to fight it but, in the end, Wesley is able to weaken it by taking Chrys' body out of confinement. After the fight, Chrys is finally to truly say good-bye to Wesley and they go their separate ways.

Episode 15 - The Hero Lies In Mew

After a discussion at the Cafe, Mini-Mew feels underappreciated. So in the next battle, caused by Cyniclon Tarb and a Plant Predasite, Mini-Mew tries to prove his worth but ends up getting eaten by the Predasite instead!

After the battle, Zoey notices that Mini-Mew's missing. Elliot finds out that his in the alien dimension so the Mew Mews race to try to get him back but is stopped by Tarb. Sardon, in the meantime, tries to get Mini-Mew to give him information about the Mew Mews but Mini-Mew resists.

The next day Zoey meets up with Mark, who gives her encouraging advice. Renee then finds Mini-Mew's location and they leave again, but not before Elliot gives Zoey an upgrade for her Strawberry Bell.

The battle seems grim when Sardon uses a device to suffocate the Mew Mews, but Mini-Mew awakens from the aftermath of his torture and destroys the device. Zoey then finishes off the Predasite with her new Rose Bell attack and promises Mini-Mew that he'll never be taken for granted again.

Episode 16 - The Books Of Love

Zoey tells Corina about Bridget's new crush on a collage student named Ian. The other Mew Mews hear about it and start playing/teasing Bridget into telling them everything. Bridget wants to tell Ian how she feels but is to nervous too.

Meanwhile, Sardon decides that the Cyniclons need to learn more about humans in order to find out their weaknesses. So he targets the local library for his next attack.

Later, Ian gives Bridget a book as a gift. She accepts and she, along with the other Mew Mews, wonder if this means that Ian likes her as well. Bridget then decides to make Ian a homemade lunch and to confess her love.

But before she can, Sardon's plan comes into motion and the library is attacked. Ian rushes to save a girl named Sabrina. Bridget now knows that Ian loved that girl all along. But she doesn't have time to feel sad. She and the other Mew Mews stop the Predasites and after the battle, they see Ian propose to Sabrina. The Mew Mews feel bad for Bridget but they know that she believes that it's better to love and lost than never to love at all.

Episode 17 - A Knight To Remember

It's the last day of school before summer vacation and all Zoey can worry about is having to work instead of spending time with Mark. After thinking about what Elliot and Wesley said about the Cyniclons, Zoey bumps into Mark, who suggests that they should have a day trip together on her next day off.

Zoey gets very excited but ends up catching a cold on the day of her date. Meanwhile, Dren is allowed to work for Deep Blue again and joins Sardon and Tarb. They decided the best way to destroy the Mew Mews is to separate them and take them out one by one.

Mark visits Zoey and promises her that they'll have their date on her next day off after she's better. After he leaves, Dren shows up and tries to take advantaged of Zoey's weakened state. But before he can finish her off, a mysterious Cyniclon boy called the Blue Knight appears.

Episode 18 - My Knight In Blue Armor

Bridget and Kikki are alone, while trying to fend of Tarb's Radish Predasites, while Corina tries to defeat Sardon's Fish Predasites. Things look bad until Renee show's up and realizes the Cyniclons' plans. She rounds all the Mew Mews together and they go to find Zoey.

Meanwhile, Dren starts fighting with the Blue Knight while trying to get him to tell him who he is. The Blue Knight saves Zoey and she gets rid of the Cyniclons.

Then the Blue Knight disappears just as mysteriously as he arrived leaving the Mew Mews to wonder who he is. Later, Kikki tells the other girls that she thinks that he Blue Knight is Elliot in disguise, which makes Zoey think about him more.

At home, Mark gives her a phone call and their date is back on the next day. But Zoey can't get Elliot out of her head. After Kikki interrupts their date, Zoey apologizes to Mark, who is very understanding and he goes home. That night, while Zoey cleans up the cafe, Elliot shows up and asks her if she wants to go to the beach with him!

Episode 19 - A Girl With A Porpoise

Elliot asks Zoey if she'd want to go to the beach with him. Zoey automatically assumes that it's a date but it turns out that it's just a vacation and all the Mew Mews were invited!

They soon find out that Bridget doesn't know how to swim and they meet a girl named Cassandra who has the same problem. So Bridget decides that they'll both learn together.

But after a daring attempt almost causes Bridget to drown, Cassandra blames herself and leaves. Bridget starts to feel that she's no use to anyone, so she gets a pep-talk from Elliot.

The next day, Cassandra comes back and apologizes to Bridget and she talks about how brave Bridget can actually be.

Suddenly a huge storm comes. It turns out that Sardon and Tarb are causing trouble. Their storm causes a kid to fall into the water and Cassandra rushes to saving him, followed by Bridget. But then, Bridget comes into contact with a strange light and it turns her into a mermaid! She saves the kids and weakens the Predasites, letting Zoey finish them off!

Episode 20 - Daughter Of The Year

Kikki comes down with a really bad cold but says that she has to go to a place called "Little Sprouts." Zoey, Bridget and Corina check it out and find out that it's a daycare center for Kikki's little sister, Heidi. They meet the teacher, Ms. Rosbe, who tells them that Kikki also has 4 brothers and that Kikki takes care of them herself since her parents aren't around.

So, the girls decide to help Kikki take care of her siblings until she's better. But this turns out to not be so easy. The next day, Kikki claims to be better and the Mew Mews leave. This is not the case when she takes Heidi to school and Ms. Rosbe finds out that she has a fever. She takes Kikki home and while she talks to her, memories of Kikki's past come up showing her talking to her mom, who was in the hospital with an illness that she ended up dying from.

But then, Tarb attacks and takes Ms. Rosbe's spirit to make a Chicken Predasite. Kikki isn't in the best shape to fight, so the other Mew Mews arrive. But Kikki musters up the strength to win and passes out.

Later, Kikki wakes up to find her siblings helping out and promise her that they'll help her from now on. Ms. Rosbe also promises to help her too.

Episode 21 - One Flew Out Of The Mew Mew Nest

Corina has a nightmare that starts to get to her, causing her to have really heated arguments with Zoey. Elliot stops their fight and takes the Mew Mews to the basement, where they show the Mew Mews the source of Bridget's mermaid transformation. It was caused by a mysterious substance that they end up calling Blue Aqua. With it's power, they can have stronger transformation and attack powers but they must find it before the Cyniclons do.

Later, Zoey and Corina have another argument which causes Renee to tell Corina to stop. Corina starts crying and leaves the cafe. A few days later, the Mew Mews receive a package containing Corina's cafe uniform and Power Pendant, showing that she was quitting the Mew Mews!

Meanwhile, the Cyniclons find some Blue Aqua and create a huge Predasite out of it. While Zoey, Bridget and Kikki try to fight it off, Renee starts attacking Corina showing her that being scared isn't an excuse to leave and convinces her to come back. Corina transforms and with a combo attack she does with Zoey, defeats the Predasite.

Episode 22 - Buggin'

It's the last day of Summer Vacation and Zoey hasn't done any of her summer homework. She decides to ask others for help, but with Megan having the same problem and Mimi on vacation in Okinawa, it doesn't seem like she'll get any.

Later, Mark calls and asks her if she wants to go to the movies with him. She accepts but when she gets there, she gets an emergency call from the other Mew Mews. She rushes to the cafe to find out that it was a false alarm and they just want her to mop up a mess that Kikki caused! Zoey decides to take this opportunity to ask her fellow Mew Mews for help but they all refuse.

Suddenly, there's a Predasite attack caused by Tarb. They rush to the scene to find a huge Cicada Predasite. It puts up a tough fight but Zoey, determined to get back to her homework as soon as possible, defeats it. But Tarb is one step ahead and sends out a lot more Cicada Predasites all over the city. It seems that there will be no way for Zoey to finish her homework.

Episode 23 - I've Got A Crush On Mew

(Note: There's about a 50 second scene skip after the 2nd commercial eyecatch in this video (when Zoey sees the gifts and the boys saying that they had to leave). At first I thought it was an isolated DVD error so I bought another disk. But it seems that all the DVDs of volume 6 have this skip. So, sorry about that XD.)

During an "All you can eat for free" special at Cafe Mew Mew, Zoey finds out that her friends, Megan and Mimi, have crushes on Elliot and Wesley. Megan explains that Elliot saved her from a gang of boys and Mimi tells her that Wesley helped her at a tea shop. They then ask Zoey if she can help them get together.

Zoey agrees to help them and the girl prepare presents for the boys. But the next day, Elliot and Wesley have to go to the park due to a Blue Aqua finding and the girls are crushed. Zoey is about to give the two boys a piece of her mind but Dren suddenly appears and uses Megan and Mimi's spirits to create 2 Lovebird Predasites. During the fight, Dren finds the small Blue Aqua piece and leaves. Zoey saves her friends and, later, Elliot and Wesley thanks the girls for their gifts. Megan and Mimi decide that it's best to just admire them and they want to set up a fan-club for them.

Episode 24 - Diamonds Are A Girl's Worst Enemy

Renee's personal assistant gets injured in an accident, so Renee wants Zoey to fill in for her(much to Corina's disappointment). It turns out that Renee is going to model for a jewelry fashion show. There, Zoey meets a girl named Gretchen, who's dream is to create her own line of jewelry with a gem called the Rainbow Stone and share it with the world. But most people think that the gem is ugly.

Soon, the Mew Mews find out that Rainbow Stone might be the Blue Aqua Crystal. The Cyniclons find out too and decide to attack during the fashion show. Gretchen tries to protect her necklace but is knocked out by a Turtle Predasite. The Mew Mews transform and, with the help of the Blue Knight, take the Predasite down. Renee finds Sardon with the necklace and tries to get it back. Sardon blocks her attack and tells her it's a waste of time since the Rainbow Stone isn't Blue Aqua after all.

Later, Renee finishes the fashion show and allows to have Gretchen get all dressed up and show off the Rainbow Stone and everyone finally finds out about it's true beauty.

Episode 25 - The Hunt For Blue Aqua

After school, Mark asks Zoey if he can walk home with her but she suddenly gets a phone call from Elliot to hurry to the cafe. When she gets there, Elliot and Wesley tell them that the Cyniclons are close to finding the Blue Aqua Crystal and the Mew Mews now have to work harder than ever to find it first.

As the days go by, this frustrates Zoey more than ever. Not only does she have to do more work, but she also will be spending even less time with Mark than she already has. This causes her explode and leave the cafe. The next day, after almost fainting from exhaustion, Mark takes her to the nurses office and cheers her up. He later calls her saying that he has a surprise for her and Zoey says that she'll meet him at the train station later.

Dren, in the meantime, comes up with a plan to distract the Mew Mews by putting a Moth Predasite Cocoon at City Tower that has enough power to destroy the city with its poisonous powder. Wesley finds out about the cocoon and warns the Mew Mews.

Episode 26 - Coo Coo Cocoon

The Mew Mews race to City Tower to stop the Moth Predasite from hatching. This goes according to the Cyniclons' plan as Sardon and Tarb take the opportunity to find the Blue Aqua Crystal. Fighting the Predasite proves difficult when the Mew Mews find out they can't destroy the cocoon.

Zoey then gets a call from Mark and she realizes that she might miss her big date. The other Mew Mews tell her that they'll try their best to beat the Predasite on time.

While searching, Sardon finds out the Predasites used can't track Blue Aqua after all and Dren lied to them! The Moth Predasite hatches and ends up being too strong for the Mew Mews to handle. Zoey is saved by the Blue Knight who tells her that the love in her heart will help her to win. Zoey's emotions activate the Blue Aqua Crystal, which was Dren's plan the whole time!

With the Blue Aqua Crystal, Zoey uses her new weapon, the Strawberry Scepter, and gets rid of the Moth Predasite. Dren uses the opportunity to give some of the Blue Aqua power to Deep Blue, telling him that he needs this power to gain his true form!

After the battle, Zoey rushes to the train station, hoping that Mark will still be there waiting for her.

NOTE: Episode 26 is the last episode of the English dub by 4Kids Entertainment. When I asked them about it through e-mail, they said that they lost the rights to the show. Not only can't they dub it, they aren't even allowed to air these episodes on TV anymore. They also said that the chances of them ever getting back are slim to none and they don't even plan to.
