Agora Sarah deve resgatá-lo, mas isto significa entrar no castelo dos Golbins, e se encontrar face a face com o poderoso Jareth. Entre Sarah e o castelo existe "O Labirinto", um mundo mágico e hipnotizante de interruptas saídas de mistério e de feitiço excitante! Young Sarah is left home alone by her parents and she has to babysit her little brother Toby. But the baby keeps crying and Sarah, while telling him a story to make him sleep, inadvertently conjures from a fantasy world the Goblin King who steals the child and brings him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth. Sarah has to rescue him before midnight, or the baby will became a goblin...

Sarah est une adolescente passionnée de contes de fée. Un soir où elle se trouve contrainte de garder son jeune demi-frère Toby, tentant de calmer ses pleurs en lui lisant un de ses livres de conte préféré, Labyrinthe, elle prononce une phrase fatidique qui emporte le bébé dans un monde imaginaire gouverné par Jareth, séduisant et trouble roi des Cobolds. Elle devra le suivre dans cet univers fantastique peuplé de cobolds, lutins et fées et, pour empêcher que l'enfant ne devienne lui-même un cobold, surmonter en moins de 13 heures les épreuves du labyrinthe de Jareth... pour lequel elle ne peut s'empêcher d'éprouver une certaine fascination.
