'Grease Megamix' was a remix/medley single released in late 1990 to celebrate the video release of the 1978 movie 'Grease'. The single was credited to John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John and released thru Polydor Records. The DJ that created this was Joe Masciantonio from Outstanding Bass Productions for Philadelphia radio station Q102. It aired during a show called the 12 Noon Workout. The megamix featured the 3 biggest hits from the 'Grease' Soundtrack - 'You're The One That I Want', 'Greased Lightnin' and 'Summer Nights'. The song was the 3rd most bought single in Australia in 1991 having hit No.1 for 5 weeks in May 1991, and also reached No.3 in the United Kingdom. The megamix re-emerged for the 20th Anniversary celebrations of the 'Grease' movie in 1998. The 'Grease' E.P. featuring the megamix and a remix of 'You're The One That I Want' charted well in the UK and Australia. The music video for the megamix was directed by Randal Kleiser and was first aired in November 1996.
